These Art Retreats are the perfect experience for any travel art journal enthusiast. Artist Judith Cassel-Mamet, in collaboration with Adler & Marlow Travel, curated these artistic escapes as small group, intensive mixed media retreats. You will engage in Judith’s famed artistic “Adventure Journal” approach, a no-fail process that aims to take away the roadblocks to creative expression. All of this with the inspirational backdrop of both urban and rural Spain & Portugal. You’ll complete your journey having seen and experienced Spain in a unique fashion. You will learn about the culture and make your own observations while recording your experience in your sketchbook. Absolutely no sketching experience necessary!

Join us for a chance to explore Portugal in your own unique way by sketching your surroundings. This is the perfect experience for any sketching enthusiast with a passion for traveling. Our Retreats are small group, intensive sketching retreats curated by acclaimed artist, Judith Cassel-Mamet in collaboration with Adler & Marlow. Taria Dawson of Urban Sketching World will be the artist presenting daily workshops. No experience is necessary! Taria will work with all levels and guide you through the art-making while an expert, local guide will accompany the group through the entire trip.
